This place has the BEST Cantonese cuisine in all of Florida. I’ve been eating here for 4 years and the food has always been the best. The restaurant looks way better after they did a renovation. The food taste exactly like the food you would get if you when to a restaurant in China. Highly recommend this place to anyone that’s reading this review.

Great authentic Chinese restaurant. We caught a rainbow runner deep sea fishing, but were staying at a hotel so couldn't prepare it ourselves. They steamed it with ginger and soy, and my kids devoured it. The general tso's was crispy white meat (for those looking for typical American Chinese fare) and the combination pan fried noodles were delicious. The portions were huge, we had leftovers but were so stuffed we couldn't eat them.

Amazing service and even better food!!! My family has been coming here for years and my grandma loves this place, and she finds the best Chinese restaurants in town. Food: The food is always so good and authentic. My family is well taken care of here. The green beans are especially yummy! They even give everyone free fruit at the end of the meal, so refreshing. Service: The service was very good, even with a birthday party going on. They took good care of us. Atmosphere: I love the atmosphere of this restaurant, very authentic and nice! They show fish and lobster in their tanks which kids love, too.

Dragon City is the BEST authentic Chinese food I have ever had in Florida. I have spent the last 15 years eating in the top NYC Chinatown restaurants and Dragon City goes toe to toe with them. Highly recommend checking this place out. Atmosphere is what you’d expect from a classic Chinatown Restaurant. Tea was great and the Food came out hot and quick. You come here to eat good Chinese Food and that is it, I love it. Update: Came back almost two years later... nothing has changed... still the best in the area.

Went here twice in the past week. Since the first visit all I've heard from my 87 year old Auntie is, "Chinese food place" in very broken English. We all really enjoyed it the first time, arrived later and were unable to take advantage of the crab deal because it had already sold out for the night. So we elected to try the lobster, orange chicken, and some lo mein. It was a great meal and experience so we went again tonight. The place is centered on fresh seafood. There are live lobster, crab and fish in tanks visible from just a few steps from the front door. You are initially greeted by an ornamental salt tank and the edible tank on the back wall. As far as Chinese food goes, this place is as good or better than what I have grown to love in Chinatown Los Angeles. Like, Jackie Chan's restaurant and the #1 rated restaurant of Chinatown "Yang Chow". Our second trip had one slight issue but I'm still rating this 5 stars because of the way it was handled and because the issue was not a mistake it was more of a miscommunication. Their are multiple menus and it can be a little confusing. When we ordered the lo mein tonight it came out as more of a chow mein. I suppose it could have been us but we ordered it the exact same way we did before so I'm not sure where the breakdown was but either way we mentioned it and they tried to fix it. It still did not come back the way we wanted it so they agreed to remove the item from the bill. My only feedback would be to streamline the menu or it may have been a genuine mistake. The point is they took care of it without hesitation and I suppose I could give them 4 stars for it but nobody is perfect. I would hate to miss out on great food myself if I were searching for good local Chinese food so I am holding strong with 5 stars because I sincerely believe they make really good food. If you're looking for a deal go with the crab but if you want some really delicious seafood I'd highly recommend getting the lobster over the crab any time. It's so good and judging by the lobster tank in the lobby, your meal will be alive up until a few moments after you place your order. That goes for the crab too. But I think it's at least worth mentioning if you go for the higher expense of the lobster, you will not be disappointed.

We had an incredible meal at Dragon City Chinese Restaurant in Hollywood, Florida! If you’re a fan of bold, authentic Szechuan flavors, this spot is an absolute gem. We ordered a spread of Mapo Tofu, Szechuan Veal, Szechuan Pork, and Chili Fish—and every single dish was a knockout. The Mapo Tofu was silky, spicy, and full of that signature numbing heat that real Szechuan cuisine is known for. The Szechuan Veal and Pork were both tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked with just the right balance of spice, garlic, and depth. But the star of the show might’ve been the Chili Fish—crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and swimming in a fiery, aromatic chili oil that we couldn’t stop eating. The portions were generous, and the service was quick and friendly. You can tell this place puts care into every dish, and the flavors are the real deal. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Chinese food with serious Szechuan heat. Can’t wait to come back and try more from the menu!
